At lunch the other day I told Jim that we could really use a back wall for the highest bed of the garden. He had told me a story about how a few years ago there was an enormous flood and it nearly took out the entire garden before flooding the house. After the flood, Jim built a few permanent walls behind the garden, but nothing really finishing off the final bed. He liked the idea and we started building today.
I used a jackhammer for the first time. I liked it.

Building a wall for the garden....Hill, you have such great ideas and are able to visualize what would enhance your environment so well!
I would LOVE to use a jackhammer! Just like I would love to use a bulldozer some day! There is something about being able to actually destroy something for good in the end! Please watch out for your back when using that jackhammer! It can't feel good to bend over like that for long periods of time! Good job! ~Miss you! XOXOXO
